Fast & Fabulous Friday!

Good Morning, Stampers!

Today's fast & Fabulous project is a card we made at Joan's workshop last night. A simple, yet elegant wedding card that can easily adapted to a birthday, sympathy, anniverary or even Mother's Day.

I love the sentiment "Happy I Do Day"! The "o" is a ring that I added a little rhinestone to for a touch of bling!

Retired List Error & Sweet Summer Card Class

I am HAPPY to announce we WILL NOT be losing the Craft Scissors & Paper Snips as originally thought! I received the following message from Stampin' Up!

Two items that were included on the Retiring Accessories List are not actually retiring. We have updated the lists to remove these items.

Mother's Day Daisies

Good Morning, Stampers!

I LOVE looking at Pinterest! They have some fabulous ideas & inspiration that can be found on there! I came across this card idea the other day. I am not sure who the original creator was as it had been "repinned" several times. I knew it would be perfect for my Mom's Group class I had scheduled. Of course, it was a BIG HIT!

I did add the ribbon and changed the sentiment, but the rest of the card was completely cased.. Thanks, Pinterest!

 The photo does not show the lower portion of the card very well, but if you look real close, you will see that there are score lines using the Simply Scored (122334 $29.95) scoring tool. The daisies were made using the Flower Daisies #2 Sizzix die (114520 $19.95).

Fast & Fabulous Friday!

Good Morning, Stampers!

I have a quick & simple card to share with you this morning! There are only 10 days left to get your hands on this adorable spring Hostess-Exclusive stamp set called Up in the Air (w122475  - c122477) from page 5 of the Occasions Mini Catalog . 1. Begin with a piece of Wysteria Wonder cardstock measuring 4 1/4 x 11". Fold in half.
2. Cut 1/2" off the bottom of the front flap.
3. Punch a Lace Ribbon Border measuring 4 1/4". Adhere to the bottom flap.
4. Stamp the butterfly image in Whisper White craft ink onto Wysteria Wonder cardstock.
5. Stamp the sentiment in Whisper White craft ink.
6. Punch a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Beautiful Butterflies embosslit.

FREE STAMP Thursday!

Everything Eleanor - Sneak Peek!

Last January, I was given this new stamp set Everything Eleanor (124164) when I attended the Leadership Conference in San Antonio. I can't believe I never opened the set until now - it sure is a BEAUTY!!!! The set comes with a set of 8 images - flowers, swirls, labels & a bird. I thought I would create a card with this set to thank my customers for their April orders. Here is the card:

Spring Blossoms Card Class

Good Morning, Stampers!

I created these cards for my upcoming Spring Blossoms Card Class on Monday, April 23rd at 7pm. The class features the Blossom Builders Designer kit (125410 $9.95) from page 18 of the Occasions Mini Catalog. Have you checked this kit out? This kit has double-sided die-cut flowers on textured paper that you can create one-of-a-kind layered flowers for embellishing cards, scrapbook pages or any papercrafting project! It also contains a package of 30 PINK rhinestones (7mm & 2mm) to embellish your flowers.

Spring Seasons Card Class

Good Morning, Stampers!

Spring brings lots of occasions - Weddings, Graduations, Mother's Day & more! I decided to focus a class on just that - the Spring Celebrations!

These are the cards we are making this coming Monday, April 16th @ 7pm. If you are interested in attending or would like to purchase a kit, I do have a few extra spaces/kits available. Fast & Fabulous Friday!

Good Morning, Stampers!

It is FRIDAY once again! Time for a Fast & Fabulous project idea!

Today's project is a card I created using the Bright Blossom's stamp set once again (w125495 $16.95 - c125497 $12.95). I just can't seem to get enough of it!

It is so easy to use the bright colors for this stamp set because of all the coordinating products that are in the Summer Smooches Product Suite. I challenged myself to use different colors and this is what I came up with:

What do you think?  The colors are Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Baja Breeze & Peach Parfait. More of a "Spring" look. I added a few dots using the Signo White Gel Pen (105021 $3.95) for a little bit of added interest.

Mason Jar Gift Set

Good Morning, Stampers!

I have a project to share with you today that I created exclusively for my Stamp Club members this week. I really wanted to incorporate the NEW Summer Smooches line not only because you can get it BEFORE the new 2012-2013 Catalog debut, but because it is a fun & cheery product line that I knew they would LOVE!

I took a mason jar and created a little tag card gift ensemble! The envelopes were created with the Summer Smooches Designer Paper (125409 $10.95). The top of the mason jar was created with the DSP, too! I love how it looks like fabric! The little tag cards were stamped using the Bright Blossoms stamp set (w125495 $16.95 - c125497 $12.95) in coordinating colors. The Daffodil Delight Seam Binding is the perfect summer color for the bow, don't you think?!

All of the products are available now thru April 30th. After that, you will have to wait til the new catalog arrives!

Petite Purse Swap

Good Morning, Stampers!

The last two nights I have had the opportunutiy to spend time with my Stamp Clubs. I LOVE this time of the month because I get to stamp with some pretty talented ladies! Not only do they get to make the projects I have created for them, I get to see the projects they created with the swaps they bring to share with the group. I am always amazed at their creations!

Here is the swap I created for this month. I began with the NEW Sizzix Petite Purse (125606 $32.95). I simply cut off the top flap to create more of a basket.

The base has been embossed with the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder (116824 $7.95) and rubbed with the the Whisper White craft ink pad.

I adhered the Blushing Bride Pleated Ribbon (125570 $6.95) with liquid craft glue along the top rim of the basket.

The flowers were made with the Build-A-Blossom stamp set (w121923 $25.95 - c$121994 $18.95) and Blushing Bride ink.

It is FRIDAY! I have a fun & fast project to share with you today! Have you taken a look at the Blossom Builders from page 18 of the Occasions Mini Catalog? They are super fun & super easy to create layered flowers in no time at all! Best of all, it comes with so many colors - the possibilites are endless!

Here, I seleceted two flowers...

I put them together with a dimensional and added them to a tag to dress-up an Easter basket!

Wonderful Butterfly

Good Morning, Stampers!

I have a fun, Spring card to share with you today!

This is such a simple layout & can easily be adapted to any style/occasion.

I stamped the Distressed Dots background stamp (122815 $17.95) in Whisper White ink onto Regal Rose cardstock. I cut a piece of Twitterpated DSP (125406 $10.95) using the Tasteful Trim Sizzix (120893 $42.95) for the scallop and topped it off with a piece of Blushing Bride Pleated Ribbon (125570 $6.95). For the butterflies, I punched a large butterfly with the Sizzix Beautiful Butterflies (114507 $21.95) in Rose Red and embossed using the Finial Press embossing folder (115963 $7.95) and a Pink Pirouette butterfly using the largest butterfly from the Beautiful Wings embosslit (118138 $11.95). Three Rhinestones (119246 $4.95) adds just the right amount of sparkle!

Curly Label Flower

Good Morning, Stampers!

I have a fun card to share with you today. I dusted off my very neglected Movers & Shapers Curly Label die (114506 $42.95) to create the base of the card.

Next, I added the Woodgrain (117100 $17.95) in Crumb Cake. The flower was stamped in Cherry Cobbler from the Mixed Bunch stamp set (w125535 $27.95 - c125537 $21.95) & the Little Leaves sizzlit (114511 $5.50) is done in Always Artichoke. The Polka Dot label comes from the exclusive Hostess stamp set, Tagtastic (w122745 $13 - c122747 $10).
